Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree pre order bonuses and special editions announced

From Software has confirmed that pre orders are now available for the long awaited expansion to their massive open world RPG hit Elden Ring, with a number of new editions for Shadow of the Erdtree’s launch.

Along with the reveal of the first gameplay and the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree release date, we also got word of a number of new special editions – for both those picking up the expansion brand new, and those who’ll want to get both the full game and expansion together.

There’s also a pre order bonus, for those who put down their money early, so let’s explore what’s on offer.

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree pre order bonus

Anyone who pre orders Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, whether on its own, or as part of the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Edition which will include the game and its expansion bundled together, will get the following pre order bonus:

• Bonus Gesture: Ring of Miquella

According to the listing, it should be noted that players can unlock this gesture later in the expansion, so this bonus just gives you early access to it from the off, so don’t worry if you’re not able to pre order for whatever reason, and you don’t mind waiting.

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree editions

There are set to be three Editions of the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, but the first two editions will also have two versions, with the contents depending on if you’re just picking up the DLC, or if you’re buying the collected base game and expansion together.
