What to expect from Pokémon Presents 2024
While there’s not been any official clues about what we should expect, previous iterations of the presentation have revealed new projects across many different mediums, including film, TV, animation and of course – and most importantly to us- video games.
In fact, video games are expected to be a big part of this year’s announcements. Last year there wasn’t much in the way of new games for Pokémon fans – just Detective Pikachu 2 on the Nintendo Switch in October 2023, and The Hidden Treasures of Area Zero expansion which arrived in two parts in September and December.
Previously, we’ve seen a relatively regular pattern of releases – with brand new entries releasing roughly every three years, and a remake in between. The last remake was Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl in 2021, so speculation seems to imply a Black and White remake could be due in 2024.
For now, fans will have to wait with baited breath to see what’s in store.
