We get to hear about more of the characters that we’ll be able to recruit in our army as we fight against the Zenoiran Empire, on top of a relevant enemy.

We learn that every battle stage has different victory conditions and allied units can be deployed from any base flying the blue flag using Valor Points. Defeating enemies and liberating points replenish valor points.
The player can select a unit with the cursor to order them to move. If an enemy is encountered, selecting the “battle” option starts combat.
You can swap positions of two allied units in close proximity to face enemies with the unit most suitable to defeat them.
An unit that loses a battle is knocked back and enters a waiting state. If a waiting unit is attacked, the enemy will automatically be granted the first strike.
Units spend stamina to fight, and when it reaches zero, they’ll be unable to move. You can select the Rest option to recover stamina, but the unit is defenseless while resting.
An item named Hallowed Corne Ash can be used to reverse a Game Over if the time limit for a battle expires, the player’s army is defeated, or their command post is captured.
You can also use Valor to activate Valor Skills specific to each class during battles, but since the Valor Points are also used to deploy units, they should be used carefully.
Battlefieds also include a variety of features like Traps, Divine Effigies, Encampments, and Siege Weapons. Divine Effigies can create cyclones, while Encampments help you by healing your units.
You should also pay attention to AP (Active Points) and PP (Passive Points). AP are used to activate Active Skills during a unit’s turn. PP are used to activate passive skills under certain conditions, for instance when a unit is attacked. When both sides have run out of AP, the battle ends.
You can set Tactics for each unit to determine which skills they will use and who they will attack. You can select the priority of each skill and the conditions in which they’ll be used. If you don’t set tactics, units will simply attack units in front of them. There is an “Optimize” feature that can automate setting tactics and equipping units.
