How to Obtain the Reverse 1999 Garden Key
You can get the Garden Key by completing Chapter 2 Stage 12 “About the New Era”. It is described as “A key to the gate entwined by thorns. It can be turned in as a task item in story trails”. Bear in mind that you need to obtain the Tiny Key first before you can get the Garden Key!
The End of Immortal
Go back to Chapter 2 Stage 6 “The End of Immortal”, where you can now use the Garden Key to open the gate that is covered in thorns.
The Tiny Key
This key can also be used in Chapter 2!
How to Get the Tiny Key
Luckily, it’s actually pretty simple! It just takes a little time if you’re not too far into the main story quest line. First, you need to obtain the Tiny Key by completing Chapter 2 Stage 15 “Empty Wardrobe”!
Now that you’ve got the Garden Key, it’s time to use it!
The Door with Wet Paint
This can be found by heading back to Chapter 2 Stage 3 “Green Oranges”. Tap the icon that appears above a floating door to the top left of the Walder building. The text box that appears will read:
- “The paint on this door has yet to dry. The black paint is really out of place, and it is obvious that the original color was bright orange. You knocked but there was no response. A sign that read “Not Yet” was placed on the door”
Once you have the Garden Key (or Tiny Key) in your inventory, you can submit it by tapping the orange “Submit Tiny Key” button! It should say Tiny Key 1/1 for it to work.
Self-defense Guide
Next, you need to go forward to Chapter 2 Stage 4 “Antidote”. Tap the icon that pops up next to the mansion – it’ll be above the head of some enemies! The text window for the Self-defense Guide will pop up, which reads as follows:
- “A noisy critter is wandering by the road giving out flyers, and you attempt to give it a hand. It doubts why, but does nothing else.”
Tap the button that says “Take a stack of flyers”. You’ll then have to solve a puzzle that involves dragging a creature across the map to its destination.
