6 Pacifista

One of the most difficult enemies that Law faced in his pirating life was a Pacifista that he encountered in the Sabaody Archipelago arc. Much like the vast majority of the Worst Generation members on Sabaody, Law was faced up against this incredibly powerful cyborg.

During this fight, Law teamed up with Kid and, together, they worked to defeat this monstrous being. Back then, neither Kid nor Law were users of Haki and, as a result, it was difficult for them to defeat this individual. However, given that both Law and Kid successfully managed to escape from the island, it can be assumed that they were able to defeat the Pacifista.

5 Tashigi

Law returned to One Piece after the timeskip during the Punk Hazard arc and immediately after his return, he faced off against Tashigi, who, by this point, was one of the Marine captains. At this point, she was a user of Haki and a master swordswoman, but she stood absolutely no chance against him in combat.

In fact, Law was rather disrespectful to her and chopped her in half, telling her that she needed to grow stronger if she wanted to decide how she wanted to die. This has been one of the easiest fights in his life so far.

4 Vergo

Vergo was a member of the Donquixote Family who was working undercover as a Marine Vice Admiral. During the Punk Hazard arc, Law fought against Vergo and fared quite well. While Law struggled against him when he did not have his heart, for understandable reasons, once he got access to it, Vergo proved to be absolutely no challenge for him in combat.

Law received his heart back thanks to help from Smoker, and following that, he one-shot Vergo with his incredible abilities and his magnificent swordplay. In doing so, he also chopped up a mountain in half and this went to show the level of strength that this incredibly powerful Surgeon of Death possessed.

3 Smoker

Law also fought Smoker during the Punk Hazard arc of One Piece. This came on the back of his fight against Tashigi, which he ended rather quickly. Smoker was a good user of Haki by this point and he also had the powers of the Moku Moku no Mi to back it up. This fight was rather impressive, however, once again, Law was largely unbothered.

In fact, Smoker wasn’t even able to push Law to the extreme and for the vast majority of the fight, the Surgeon of Death was very comfortable. In the end, he was able to trick Smoker and remove his heart from his body, completely defeating him in the process.

2 Kin’emon

Law fought against Kin’emon during the Punk Hazard arc of One Piece. Fans already know Kin’emon to be incredibly strong. In Wano, he put up a fight against Kaido himself and he showcased incredible Haki, which was far more advanced than Law’s very own. Kin’emon could injure Kaido in battle and, more importantly, it was shown that he possessed indomitable willpower.

Despite everything, he was not able to defeat Law. This was largely because he did not understand how Law’s powers worked, given that Devil Fruit abilities were foreign to him.

1 Big Mom

By far, the strongest individual that Law has defeated in One Piece is one of the Emperors of the Sea, Big Mom. Being a monstrous pirate worth 4.388 billion, Big Mom was quite a challenge for Law to take on in combat. This happened in the Wano Country arc, where Big Mom teamed up with Kaido, and Law, together with the other members of the Worst Generation, took on this duo.

When the Yonko were split, Law joined forces with Kid to take on Big Mom. This fight was nothing short of extraordinary and saw both Law and Kid push beyond all their limits. In the end, Law did more than enough to defeat Big Mom. In fact, he even demonstrated some of his incredibly powerful awakened techniques, such as Shock Wille and Puncture Wille, both of which were incredibly efficient, with the latter being strong enough to blow a hole so big that it went through the island of Onigashima, down to the Wano mainland, and all the way to the underground volcano. Law played a significant role in defeating Big Mom, which was far bigger than what Kid managed to do.
