Palworld is an extremely popular new game that millions of people are enjoying. It is free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to enjoy and it boasts a 24-hour peak playercount of over 1,500,000 on Steam. Because of its popularity, some people are wondering if Palworld is on Mobile or coming to iOS and Android in the future. With many people wanting to download and play the game on Mobile, the developer Pocketpair has had to issue a major warning.
Dubbed by many as Pokémon with guns, Palworld is a survival game also likened to other beloved experiences such as ARK Survival Evolved. The Pokémon Company has issued a response to all the comparisons, meanwhile, PETA wants a Vegan guide for the game due to the alleged ‘animal cruelty’ as players can either care for Pals or simply butcher them for meat and crafting.
While the game has been marred by some controversy since its launch, there’s no denying it’s lots of fun and is extremely popular. Naturally, PlayStation users want it to come to PS5, but many also want it to come to Mobile for iOS and Android.
Is Palworld on Mobile?
No, Palworld is not on Mobile for either iOS or Android. In fact, developer Pocketpair has issued a warning on the game’s official Twitter account. This is because ‘Palworld’ has popped up to download on the iOS and Android Google Play store, but any apps using the name are not affiliated with Pocketpair at all.
Below is the warning shared on Palworld_EN:
‘There is no Palworld application for phones. Apps using names and product images such as “パルワールド” and “Palworld” are appearing on the AppStore and Google Play, but they are not affiliated with our company in any way.
‘We have reported this issue to Apple, which operates the App Store, and Google, which operates Google Play. Please be aware that downloading these apps may lead to the leakage of personal information stored on your smartphone or to fraud.’
Is Palworld coming to iOS and Android?
Pocketpair has not said Palworld is coming to Mobile for iOS and Android. There is a chance the game will come to PS5 in the future for PlayStation, but the developer has not officially announced the game for any platforms away from Xbox and PC where it is currently available.
If you are on Xbox, it joined the platform for free via the Game Pass January 2024 offerings. As for PC, it is available through either Steam or the Microsoft store. The official roadmap shares that crossplay between Xbox and Steam will come in the future, but, for now, Palworld crossplay is only available between Xbox and the Microsoft Store PC version.
