Each Fortnite live event has been fantastic so far. It all began in Season 4 with a rocket launch, and the latest event introduced us to new game modes and other features that arrived in Chapter 5. Over the past few years, Epic Games has released live events every two to three seasons on average. However, we may get the next event sooner than we expect.

The Big Bang event took place in early December 2023, introducing us to Chapter 5. Due to this, most players expect the next Fortnite live event to come at the end of Season 2 or 3 of the current chapter. Epic, however, may release it much sooner.

Will Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 have a live event?

According to SpushFNBRF, one of the most reputable Fortnite leakers, the next live event may take place at the end of the current season. If not, the leaker is 75% sure that Epic will release the event in the first two seasons of Chapter 5.

The leaker believes that we will get an event soon due to event files staying in the game data. Usually, Epic Games removes these files with the first major update of the season. However, considering that the v28.10 update didn’t remove these files, there’s a good chance the next live event will happen within a few weeks.

The next major update is scheduled for early February, and it will be interesting to see if Epic will remove these files with it. If not, then more event files may be added during the month. Chapter 5 Season 1 is scheduled to end on March 8, so it won’t be surprising if the development team adds more event files with the next big update.

The Chapter 5 storyline is rather confusing, and a Fortnite live event could clear things up. However, we’ll have to wait a little longer for the official confirmation.
