Fortnite has received two significant modes with LEGO and the Music Festival. The latter is a Guitar Hero-style rhythm game that is lots of fun but admittedly light on songs. An upcoming new Fortnite Festival song for the future has leaked, and it has divided fans with some branding it the ‘biggest L’.
There is lots to look forward to in the near future for Fortnite fans. The Chapter 5 Season 2 release date is creeping closer, and there are leaks pointing to a new event for Fortnite X TMNT starring iconic villain Shredder. As for the here and now, fans can get the excellent Solid Snake skin by completing challenges.
While the classic battle royale and LEGO mode remain the most popular, the Festival music game is great as well. The only downside is that there is not a huge catalog of songs, but more will be added.
Upcoming Fortnite Festival song splits fans
ShiinaBR has leaked that an upcoming song for the Fortnite Festival mode is Industry Baby by Lil Nas X. There is no release date for the song, but the reported addition has split fans.
In the Twitter replies, there are some people excited screaming ‘about time we get some good music’. Another says they’ll ‘finally get to relive the Roblox concert,’ and another fan simply says ‘Let’s go’. However, on the flip side, there appear to be as many replies in opposition. There are comments simply saying ‘pass’ and that the song is ‘mid,’ while others have branded it the ‘biggest L of all time’.
Over on Reddit, some fans have responded wondering what happened to Evanescence and NUMB from Linkin Park. Bring Me to Life by Evanescence was reportedly included in game files, but one of the comments suggests that it got deleted. That would be a shame for many of us wanting more classic songs and rock music rather than modern tracks.
In other Fortnite news, the OG mode is reportedly set to return this year. Players could also be unknowingly competing against the latest mega-celebrity to become obsessed with the battle royale.
