Palworlds Fuddler is a Ground-type Pal that resembles a weasel and sea otter, which is compared to Buizel of the Pokemon franchise. Buizel can be discovered in both the early and late game, and it is one of the few ground types available in the first few hours of a playthrough. Fuddler is effective in both combat and base utility, though it may be outclassed later on. Nevertheless, it remains one of the more versatile Pals to add to a base.

Fuddler packs a good attack and a Ground type that is sought after, especially when taking on Zoe and Grizzbolt — Palworld‘s first real boss battle. Its appearance may be unassuming at first, but Fuddler can be quite impactful on a team early on and remains resourceful later in the game once it has been replaced by stronger Ground-type Pals. For newer players, this is one Pal that shouldn’t be slept on.

Where to Find Fuddler

Fuddler Location in Palworld

PALWORLD-MAU-CAVE

One of the easiest places to find Fuddler is within the dungeons of Palworld. They spawn rather commonly and appear in groups of two in a single space. They intend to escape from a player’s sight upon first glance but put up quite a fight once a battle is initiated. Coming prepared with long-range weapons is ideal, as it allows the player to chip away at damage while reducing the distance and capturing it.

Fuddler is also available on the outskirts of the map, making it one that can be discovered in the late stages of the game. This means that earning a Ground-type Pal like Fuddler so early is valuable, as its versatility in both mining and battle can be recycled throughout a playthrough. Catching one is essential, at any point.

If players want to grab Fuddler early, head to the dungeons and scour the rooms for any sign of them. It might mean plowing through the occasional wave of Syndicate grunts or running into a Daedream or Mau, but break out those Pal Spheres when Fuddler appears, they’ll come in handy quickly.

Fuddler’s Work Suitability

What’s Fuddler Good for?

PALWORLD-FUDDLER-PALDECK

When it comes to performing tasks at the base, Fuddler is a workhorse. Its mining capabilities, combined with a Partner Skill Ore Detector, make it an essential resource for gathering crafting materials in a surplus. Simply send it over to farm stone, and Fuddler will break out the pickaxe and swing away. This Pal is also capable of handiwork and transport, making it helpful at both ends.

Fuddler’s Ore Detector is fascinating, as it sends a detection wave over a few dozen feet to find any source to mine ore from. Ore is important for crafting Ingot, which is used for stronger crafting tools and resources in the later stages of the game.

Is Fuddler Strong?

PALWORLD-FUDDLER-BASE

Fuddler is a solid Ground-type Pal to add to any team early on, especially when taking on Zoe and Grizzbolt. It comes with an arsenal of super-effective moves and is quick on its feet. Tossing it out ensures an enemy weak to Ground will be in a heap of trouble, all while the player can stand back and launch an assault of arrows while Fuddler attacks in the proximity of the foe. Here is Fuddler’s potential move list.

  • Power Shot: A Neutral-type move, this deals a good amount of damage, but should be used sparingly in a chain of attacks with its other moves.
  • Sand Blast: Fuddler blasts the enemy Pal with a wave of sand, causing it to become temporarily stunned.
  • Stone Blast: Launching stones at its enemy, this move is an excellent Ground-type attack that causes good damage to Electric types.

Fuddler is easily one of the Pals that make the team early on, especially if Rushoar isn’t an option. Its combination of early-game utility on the battlefield and long-term versatility at the base will have players using Fuddler for a long time. Later on, it will be replaced by Pals with stronger move sets and more capacity to help out, but for now, Fuddler is a Pal that deserves its praise.
