Speaking as a British human, with my mandatory cup of tea in hand, we don’t really have much in the way of interesting mythology. Sure, the Loch Ness Monster, but in any other country, she would breathe fire. So, it is always exciting when a developer shines a light on the Arthurian Legends, which is what HAEGIN has done in Demian Saga.

The titular King Arthur from the legends has marched in the game, armed with his trusty Excalibur, the key that marks the next king of Elysion. Unsurprising, he is a melee hero who uses his sword and shield to protect and attack, with skills that allow him to buff his allies’ Attack Speed or remove enemy beneficial effects.

On top of these pretty helpful skills, Arthur is perfectly capable of dealing out some pretty significant damage himself and comes equipped with the ability to deal extra damage to foes with low HP. Add this to the fact he can knock enemies that have been hit down, and you have a potent character for both single-player and PvP modes.

His arrival comes at an opportune time, as the level cap for Heroes has been raised to 500, and even more helpfully the levelling system has been tweaked, so linked Heroes will advance quicker provided you own five or more Level 400 characters. To celebrate the release, there is a five-day login event gifting up to 2,500 Gems, and a chance to recruit King Arthur twice.

Finally, players can now tackle a brand new mode called Time Expedition, a seven-day weekly event that challenges folk to clear 30 stages with up to 25 handpicked Heroes. Keep advancing, and you will start racking up some serious gold, Upgrade Materials, and more. After the seven days, you will get a final reward based on how far you got, which might even contain some delicious Hero Shards.
