Out of all the weapons and camo challenges that appear during your Modern Warfare 3 adventure, penetration kills are perhaps the most annoying and difficult to get. Not because you need to do something particularly uncommon – you have probably landed one of these before – but the frequency or likeness of it and the placing of your Operator makes this a hard thing to do. To perform penetration kills in Modern Warfare 3, you will need to kill enemies after shooting through a wall – most commonly known as a wallbang.
Now, before you install a wallhack and get yourself banned from playing the game forever, there are some things you can try to do. First of all, firing through fences will be the best way you will be able to shoot your enemies. While one could theorize that the bullets don’t go through any type of structure due to the openness of a fence, they count as penetration kills and are easier to land than shooting through a massive wall. You know, because you can actually see the enemy through fences. Do some camping – I know, don’t worry about it – and wait for enemies to cross in front of the fences so that you can land some penetration kills.

You could also equip the Engineer Vest and unlock the ability to see enemy equipment, even through walls. This could potentially help you identify and locate enemies camping in certain spots on the map. I would not recommend relying too much on this strategy because it involves you firing blindly, which will most likely end up with you killed.
