EA Sports released WRC patch 1.4.0 and Season 2 a couple of weeks ago adding the Central European Rally along with improvements and fixes for various modes. Unfortunately the update led to Career Mode breaking for many players if their save had a specific set of Benefactor objectives.
Players with active Career Mode saves are advised to refrain from playing in Career until an update is released. The upcoming hotfix aims to restore existing Career Mode saves for those who choose not to start a new Career. For those opting to start a new Career, you can do so without being affected by the current issue but your previous save will be permanently lost.
Addressing the Career Mode issue is the team’s primary focus. Due to the complexity of the problem affecting save games, they are proceeding with caution to avoid inadvertently introducing other issues. A hot fix is scheduled to arrive in mid-January after testing and certification on all platforms.
