Time for the final stretch. Here is how to clear the Crystal leading to the Area Zero Underdepths in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How to clear the Crystal leading to the Area Zero Depths in The Indigo Disk
Before you venture to find the Area Zero Underdepths in The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you need to know that you will need to traverse through a decent chunk of the main story to access this area. The only thing I can tell you that will picture the image perfectly is that you need the actual Indigo Disk to access it. And since this item gives this DLC its name, then you know that it will take some time. Anyway, once you have collected it, you will have to travel to Research Station 4 to unlock the Zero Lab.
The Indigo Disk will fit in the Zero Lab panel and you will gain access to the Area Zero Underdephts. Here is where you will eventually find a huge terrastalized crystal blocking the way. This is the first of many, but getting rid of it will open the way to disposing of the others. You will have to defeat a Stellar Glimmora, which is a terrastalized Glimmorra. Its Stellar Type will not impact its weaknesses but will make all of its attacks super-effective.
Terrastalized Glimmora Fight
Pokémon | Type | Abilities | Weaknesses |
---|---|---|---|
Glimmora | Rock/Poison Stellar (Terrastalized) |
Toxic Debris: If hit with a physical move, the Glimmora will scatter Toxic Spikes in the opposing field. Will activate two times maximum. Corrosion: Will poison Steel and Poison-type Pokémon. |
4x Ground 2x Water 2x Psychic 2x Steel |
As you can see, there are some Pokémon that will deal significant damage to the Glimmora. For example, Ground/Water-type Pokémon such as Swampert or Ground/Steel-types like Excadril take advantage of Glimmora’s weaknesses. I would avoid Steel-type Pokémoin since Corrosion can poison them and Psychic-types are more like a second choice due to them not exploiting all of the Glimmora’s weaknesses. All you have to do is prioritize DPS since it will take away the Terrastalized property of the Glimmora, making it not hurt you with super-effective attacks. Keep hitting it with everything you’ve got and you will be good to go.

You will find more crystals blocking the way while you continue to explore deeply into the Area Zero Underdepths. You will get rid of those by defeating Stellar Pokémon. Just be sure to prioritize DPS and exploit the Pokémon’s weaknesses just like you did with Glimmora. You will be able to move forward consistently if you do so!
