Charms are items you’ll discover throughout the game, and you’ll use the crafting bench to make them. However, you aren’t directly able to upgrade these Charms after you craft them. Instead, you’ll unlock higher-tier Charms throughout the game, which you’ll be able to stack within your inventory, essentially amplifying the effect.

You’re able to have four items within your inventory equipment category on your character, so if you want, you can have four uncommon Health Charms equipped, giving you a ton of extra hearts.
