If we are going to kill countless diabolical fiends, we might as well do it in style. Here is how to add festive decorations to Midwinter Square in the Diablo 4 Midwinter Blight event.
Diablo 4: How to Add Festive Decorations to Midwinter Square in Midwinter Blight Event
Can you imagine Christmas without the lights, tree, presents, and the mandatory dinner? Well, if you just moved into your new apartment perhaps you celebrate Christmas with a single candle and some KFC – if you are in Japan. However, it is undeniable that Christmas has its glow and theme, and so does the Midwinter Blight.
Although the Blightfiends do have their decorations and celebrations – that are quite gruesome and deadly – we will have to stop them due to their human life cost, which will also allow us to have decorations of our own in Midwinter Square. This place acts as a place to celebrate our victory over the Blightfiends. However, as you will see, it starts empty. To dust off the Midwinter Square decorations and put them on display, you will have to convert Midwinter Blight resources into Midwinter Proofs at the Collection’s Table:
- Blighted Fragment: Defeat Blightfiends. Spend 300 fragments to get one Midwinter Proof.
- Lost Heirloom: Destroy Frigid Husks. Spend 30 husks to get one Midwinter Proof.
- Red-Cloaked Trophy: Defeat and decapitate Red-Cloaked Horrors. Spend one trophy to get one Midwinter Proof.
While you can use the Midwinter Proofs to get cosmetic rewards, the very act of converting Midwinter Blight resources into Proofs will upgrade the Midwinter Tribute Tier at the Midwinter Proof Exchange. Every time you upgrade the Tribute Tier, you will not only get certain item caches but also upgrade the aesthetics and decorations of the Midwinter Square.
