Devil Fruits are one of the biggest sources of power in the One Piece world, along with Haki. As the name suggests, these fruits are quite special as they grant special powers to those who eat them but take away their ability to swim.
Although not every Devil Fruit has the same power, they all make the user stronger than they were before eating them. A special stage of Devil Fruit powers, known as Awakening, is unlocked in extremely rare cases. Awakened Devil Fruits start affecting the surroundings of the user and make them much stronger. One Piece: Every Awakened Devil Fruit, Ranked

The vast majority of the strongest fighters that possess Devil Fruit powers will likely have awakened abilities now and fans have already seen glimpses of that in the Egghead arc. While this list already goes over the vast majority of the Devil Fruit Awakening users as well as the strongest powers that they have at their disposal, new Awakened Devil Fruit users have been revealed in the Egghead arc that deserve to be added to the list. With that said, this list has now been updated accordingly.
13 Awakened Zoans Of Impel Down
The first time fans saw Awakened Devil Fruits in One Piece was during the Impel Down arc, where the Jailer Beasts were shown to have Zoan powers. All these Zoan powers were awakened, as explained by Sir Crocodile, one of the Shichibukai.
Although their awakening wasn’t shown in detail, they were said to have an extremely high recovery rate, along with much higher strength and speed in combat. Their durability, along with all their other physical aspects improved massively as well.
12 Goru Goru No Mi
User: Tesoro
The Goru Goru no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that was introduced in One Piece Film: Gold. Eaten by the main antagonist of the arc, Gild Tesoro, the Goru Goru no Mi allowed him to create and manipulate gold according to his will.

At some point, Gild also awakened his Devil Fruit powers, and using them, he could control all the gold present on his ship, the Gran Tesoro, and use it as a sensory network. He could detect everything that happened anywhere on the ship, similar to how Enel did with his Goro Goro no Mi.
11 Ushi Ushi no Mi, Model: Giraffe
User: Kaku
The Ushi Ushi no Mi, Model: Giraffe is a powerful Zoan type of Devil Fruit that was eaten by Kaku. Fans saw this fruit being consumed during the Enies Lobby arc, where it was seen being presented by Spandam to the CP9. This Devil Fruit, as the name suggests, allows Kaku to transform into a giant giraffe and its human hybrid at will. Back in the Enies Lobby arc, Kaku did not have much control over its powers, yet, he managed to fight against Zoro pretty well.
Now, his control has excelled to a point where he has managed to awaken this Devil Fruit, which is nothing short of impressive. His awakening grants him flame-like hair on his body and the standard power boost in all the attributes, such as strength, speed, endurance, and, most importantly, recovery rate. The fact that Kaku managed to awaken it in just two years is stunning, to say the least. Thanks to his Devil Fruit awakening and many other powers that he gained over the course of time, he was promoted to CP0. Currently, he is one of the strongest members of the organization.
Strongest Awakening Technique: Kiriman-Gyro
Kaku was recently seen making use of his awakened Devil Fruit power against none other than Zoro when the two clashed on Egghead Island. Fans saw him enter his awakened state shortly after seeing the Sunny and he went on to trade blows with Zoro. Once in his awakened form, Kaku launched a powerful Nose Pistol towards Zoro, who deflected it with rather ease.
He then proceeded to launch his strongest technique so far, the Kiriman-Gyro. This technique was incredibly powerful and allowed him to produce wind slashes by moving his neck and circles. Its power was similar to Kaido’s Tatsumaki, which is why Zoro made a direct comparison to that. That said, this technique was nothing special as it was deflected by Zoro, just like the first one. Yet, Kaku’s resilience was on full display in this fight as he barely took a scratch.
10 Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Leopard

The Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Leopard is an incredibly powerful Devil Fruit that also belongs to the Zoan class. Recently, Zoan Devil Fruits have been receiving a lot of attention in One Piece and with the inclusion of the CP0 in the Egghead Island arc, Lucci strutting his stuff was not a surprise. His Devil Fruit, as fans already know, allows him to transform into a giant leopard and a leopard-human hybrid at will. What’s more, the Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Leopard, being a carnivorous Zoan type, is even more dangerous as it makes Lucci bloodthirsty and increases his strength when that is the case.
Lucci usually prefers fighting in his hybrid form. On Egghead Island, Lucci clashed against Luffy and immediately displayed his Devil Fruit awakening, knowing that nothing less would suffice against a Yonko. His awakening makes his mane thicker and his body leaner. That said, he becomes much stronger and faster, as was seen during his short clash against Luffy. He could even clash against Luffy in Gear 5 and although he was defeated rather easily, the fact that he was able to hold his own against him for a short period of time shows that he has come a long way.
Strongest Awakening Technique: Shugan
Lucci has not yet displayed the full extent of his awakened Devil Fruit powers. During his clash against Luffy, he did not use any big named attacks so it is hard to tell what his strongest ability is right now. However, he then went on to deliver a little blow to Sentomaru. To knock him out of commission, Lucci used a technique named Shugan, which sees him coat his entire hand in Haki and pierce through his opponents’ bodies. Despite Sentomaru using his powerful Ryuo Haki to defend against this technique, he was unable to stop it, such was its ferocity. Lucci was effortlessly able to deal with a strong navy soldier and that just goes to show how powerful his Shugan technique is. Despite that, his peak has not been seen yet and fans might get to witness him bust out new techniques in the upcoming chapters.
9 Mochi Mochi No Mi
User: Katakuri
Eaten by the second son of Charlotte Linlin, Charlotte Katakuri, the Mochi Mochi no Mi is a special Paramecia-type Devil Fruit introduced during the Whole Cake Island arc. The Mochi Mochi no Mi is unique among Paramecia Devil Fruit as it enables the user to create, control, and turn into Mochi at will, akin to a Logia.
At some point, Katakuri managed to awaken his Devil Fruit powers, permitting him to affect his surroundings with the powers of the Mochi Mochi no Mi as well. Katakuri was seen turning the entire Mirro World into Mochi and trapping Luffy in the ground. Other techniques, such as Drop Mochi made him even more difficult to take on in battle.
Strongest Awakening Technique: Mochi Ginchaku
Mochi Ginchaku is the most powerful Devil Fruit awakening attack that Katakuri has up his sleeve. With the power of awakening, this technique sees him summon various Muso Donuts with which can create giant arms.
These arms are coated in high-level Armament Haki and allow Katakuri to hit his enemies from all directions at once. It was first used against Luffy, however, despite Luffy being quite tired already, he didn’t fall to the usage of this technique.
8 Ito Ito No Mi
User: Doflamingo
The Ito Ito no Mi was eaten by the former Shichibukai and King of Dressrosa, Donquixote Doflamingo. Ito Ito no Mi is an extremely powerful Devil Fruit of the Paramecia class that allows him to produce strings at will and manipulate them as he likes. The powers of this Devil Fruit are remarkably versatile, as seen during the Dressrosa arc.
Doflamingo also managed to awaken the Ito Ito no Mi, which allowed him to be able to turn his surroundings into strings and manipulate them freely. According to Luffy, his Devil Fruit stopped functioning as a Paramecia at this point. Although powerful, Doflamingo’s awakening powers weren’t enough to take down Gear Fourth.
Strongest Awakening Technique: God Thread
God Thread is Doflamingo’s strongest technique and sees the Ito Ito no Mi surpass all its limits as an awakened Devil Fruit. When using this technique, Doflamingo is able to create 16 large constructs of threads which are coated in Haki.
Using these threads, called 16 Holly Assassin’s Bullets, he then attacks his enemy with incredible power. This technique has only been seen used once, against Luffy’s King Kong Gun. Sadly for Doflamingo, he was completely overwhelmed by Luffy’s King Kong Gun and lost the fight.
7 Gasha Gasha No Mi
User: Douglas Bullet
Introduced in One Piece: Stampede, the Gasha Gasha no Mi was eaten by none other than the main antagonist of the movie, Douglas Bullet. This Devil Fruit is one of the strongest in the Paramecia class as it allows him to merge with any inanimate object at will, thus making Bullet an assimilation human. Bullet usually used this power with his giant submarine, called the Catapult.
At some point, Bullet’s Devil Fruit powers awakened and allowed him to use his merging powers on a much greater scale. What’s more, he could even merge with his surroundings, which made him extremely scary in combat. The power of this Devil Fruit, combined with his Haki made him strong enough to compete with the Yonko.
Strongest Awakening Technique: Ultimate Faust
Ultimate Faust is the strongest technique in the arsenal of Douglas Bullet, the man known as the Demon Heir. Upon using his awakened Devil Fruit and assimilating with everything in his surroundings, he creates a giant humanoid figure. Infusing Haki into its arm, Bullet then punches his enemies with great power.
Ultimate Faust is strong enough to defeat even the mightiest of pirates. To match it, Luffy had to inflate into his King Kong Gun to make it even bigger, which just goes to show that Bullet’s awakening is incredible.
6 Jiki Jiki No Mi
User: Eustass Kid
Jiki Jiki no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that was eaten by one of the members of the Worst Generation, Eustass ‘Captain’ Kid. The powers of Jiki Jiki no Mi were first demonstrated during the Sabaody Archipelago arc, where the Worst Generation assembled. In Wano Country, fans got a better look at its powers and this Devil Fruit didn’t disappoint.
Jiki Jiki no Mi allows Kid to manipulate magnetic forces at will and attract and repel all metal around him. By turning his body into a magnet, Kid is able to become stronger by growing larger metal limbs. At some point, his Devil Fruit powers awakened and allowed him to use an ability known as “Assign.” Using this, he is able to turn others into a magnet. Kid then relies on the metal in his surroundings to use a very powerful technique called Punk Clash.
Strongest Awakening Technique: Punk Clash
Eustass Kid’s Devil Fruit awakening lets him Assign magnetic properties to anyone and once he does that, he can massively increase their level of attraction. When Kid used this technique on Big Mom, he was able to increase her level of attraction to a point where all the metal in her surroundings was attracted to her and ending up crushing her under immense weight. Kid calls this technique Punk Clash.
5 Ope Ope No Mi
User: Trafalgar Law
One of the most powerful Paramecia-type Devil Fruits, the Ope Ope no Mi was eaten by the Captain of the Heart Pirates, Trafalgar Law. This Devil Fruit turns Law into a modification man as it allows him to create ROOMs within which he can manipulate anything and everything, from personalities to the terrain.
When tapping into awakening, Law creates a bubble called KROOM and coats his sword with it. The sword can then phase through anything without harming the target. KROOM then creates an electrical shockwave from within, dealing great damage to the target.
Strongest Awakening Technique: Puncture Wille
Quite easily the strongest technique of Trafalgar Law, Puncture Wille sees him extend his blade by using the awakening of his Devil Fruit, Ope Ope no Mi. With his elongated sword, he can stab anything without creating a puncture wound.
Puncture Wille sees the sword extend for miles and when the sword reaches its maximum length, Law unleashes a tremendously powerful shockwave through the sword. When used against Big Mom, this technique completely crushed her from the inside. What’s more, it also ripped open a massive hole in Onigashima and even in the mainland of Wano Country itself.
4 Hito Hito No Mi, Model: Nika
User: Monkey D. Luffy
Also called the Gomu Gomu no Mi, the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika is a Mythical Zoan type of Devil Fruit and was eaten by Monkey D. Luffy at the age of 7. This fruit holds legendary status in the One Piece world, which is why the World Government gave it another name and hid its identity from the world. This Devil Fruit grants rubber powers to the user and allows them to fight with great freedom.
At the same time, the user of the fruit brings smiles to everyone and becomes a true warrior of liberation. Awakening gives access to a new transformation and even allows them to fight with even more freedom. This power is described to be the most ridiculous ability to ever exist.
Strongest Awakening Technique: Bajrang Gun
Luffy is, by far, the strongest awakened Devil Fruit user that fans have seen in the story so far. To defeat Kaido, he went on to unleash a barrage of attacks on the Yonko and, to put him down, Luffy used what could be the strongest technique in the entire series so far. Bajrang Gun sees Luffy jump to the skies and create a fist that is the size of an entire island. He then goes on to coat this first and the Color of Arms and the Color of the Supreme King. Luffy then unleashes this powerful strike towards his enemy and, midway, this fist lights up on fire.
To make things even more dangerous, Luffy uses his Internal Destruction Haki to deal damage from a distance and destroy his enemies from within. This technique was powerful enough to overwhelm Kaido’s strongest technique named Shoryu: Kaen Hakke, break his horn, and send him crashing through Wano mainland, down into an underground volcano.
3 Saturn’s Devil Fruit
User: Jaygarcia Saturn
Saturn is one of the members of the Five Elders and he was recently revealed to be a powerful Devil Fruit user in the Egghead Island Arc of One Piece. Saturn came to Egghead with the marine fleet that surrounded the island and his main purpose for traveling there was to subdue Vegapunk. However, when he found out that Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates were on the island, he realized that just an Admiral might not be enough to control things and decided to step on the island by himself. Saturn transformed into his Devil Fruit state when the fighting began and revealed his incredible powers.
Currently, the name of his Devil Fruit power is unknown to the fans, however, when it comes to appearance, he has two giant horns, a massive torso with an overgrown beard, and the lower half of a spider. It appears that this form of his is a fusion between a bull and a spider and is based on Japanese Yokai, called Ushi Oni. It is clearly a terrifying beast and Saturn certainly has an Awakening cloud around his neck. This cloud is very similar to the one that Lucci and Kaku were seen with earlier in the arc and is an indication of Devil Fruit Awakening. Saturn is certainly a Devil Fruit Awakening user and that is the least that fans can expect from him.
Strongest Awakened Technique: Invisible Blow
When it comes to Saturn’s awakened Devil Fruit techniques, there are quite a few that fans have seen over the last few chapters. Saturn’s strongest ability is his power to kill or injure others by merely glancing at them. Just by taking a look, he can kill his enemies. He was seen killing a member of his own Marines for looking at him when he first revealed his powers. Later on, he also used this power on Bonney and Sanji, knocking them down and injuring them by merely looking at them.
Saturn also has other powers, such as holding down others with his gaze, and an incredibly powerful healing factor that sees him recover from even the most intense of damage. There are likely many other abilities that he hasn’t even revealed just yet, however, for now, Saturn’s incredible glance remains to be his strongest technique.
2 Unknown Devil Fruits Of Five Elders
Users: Five Elders
Just like Saturn, the Five Elders also have Devil Fruits and fans already know that they have awakened powers as well. This is evident from the silhouettes, where many of them seem to have an Awakening cloud around their necks. This Awakening cloud is proof of their mastery of their Devil Fruits and the fact that they have taken their powers beyond all their limits. Sadly, fans do not know what exactly the Devil Fruit powers of the Five Elders are. However, what is confirmed at the moment already is the fact that these powerful individuals certainly have Devil Fruits that belong to the strongest of classes and Awakened ones at that.
For what it’s worth, fans already know that these Devil Fruits are likely going to belong to the class of Mythical Zoan, given that one of them appears to be a user of some bird-like entity, while another looks like a hippo, and yet another one looking like some variant of a Hito Hito no Mi user. As the final saga of One Piece continues, fans will most likely see these Awakened Devil Fruits come into play and How their incredible power differs from each other.
1 Imu’s Devil Fruit
Recently, in the Final Saga of One Piece, Imu was also revealed to be an ability user. Fans do not know what Imu’s ability is just yet, however, it appears to be some sort of a dark silhouette and a giant creature that they transform into. Given that all Imu’s underlings have Awakened Devil Fruit, it would be ridiculous for fans to assume that Imu doesn’t have an awakened Devil Fruit themselves.
With time, fans will most certainly find out more about what capabilities they hold and what their level of strength is. For now, fans only know that their Devil Fruit has the power to consume things as dangerous as Sabo’s fire blasts like they are nothing and they can manipulate arrow-like appendages that are strong enough to kill.
