The Ros Arago IV is a 600RPM Void Auto Rifle that quickly caught the eye of many players at the beginning of Destiny 2 Season of the Wish. It has all the makings of a reliable PvE workhorse with good potential for slaying out in the Crucible.
Destiny 2: How To Get Reprised Undying Weapons
Weapons from Season of the Undying are now back in Destiny 2, but farming for them is going to involve a lot of patience. Here’s where to find them.
There are a few top-tier rolls for the Ros Arago IV, but getting this new Destiny 2 weapon is going to take a lot of luck and patience. Here’s a guide on the perk combos that players should be looking for as well as some tips on how to get this gun.
Best Ros Arago IV Perks
As an Adaptive Frame Auto Rifle, the Ros Arago IV is decent across the board in terms of performance. It’s a jack-of-all-trades weapon by nature, though it can specialize in certain things if it has the right perks on it. Some PvE god rolls for this weapon include:
- Repulsor Brace/Golden Tricorn
- Subsistence/Onslaught
- Subsistence/Attrition Orbs
The Repulsor Tricorn combo is generally good for Void builds, especially if players have a means of synergizing with Void Overshields. Titans with Offensive Bulwark can make excellent use of a Ros Arago with this perk combo, though other classes have ways of exploiting this synergy as well.
Subsistence is another top-tier PvE perk, though it’s most useful in less-difficult activities. Rewind Rounds is better in Master or Grandmaster content since it doesn’t require kills to activate. Pair either of these with a damage perk like Onslaught or Golden Tricorn to maximize efficiency. If players would rather have more Super and ability energy, then Attrition Orbs is the way to go.
3 Titan Builds Destiny 2 Players Shouldn’t Sleep on in Season of the Wish
Destiny 2’s Season of the Wish made a few significant changes to the sandbox, and Titan players shouldn’t miss out on three new builds.
As far as PvP goes, Dynamic Sway Reduction on the Ros Arago IV’s third column is the only perk that provides an immediate advantage to players. It’ll help keep the gun stable the longer it shoots, which will make hitting Precision shots easier. Again, Golden Tricorn and Onslaught will improve the Ros Arago’s optimal TTK value in the Crucible, making them valuable perks for 6v6 game modes.
An interesting combo for the Crucible is Rewind Rounds with Deconstruct. The latter increases the damage the Ros Arago deals to constructs like Titan Barricades, Stasis Crystals, Stasis Turrets, Strand Clones, Wells of Radiance, and Wards of Dawn. Additionally, the perk refills the weapon’s magazine after dealing enough damage — players basically have access to unlimited ammo with both these perks equipped as Rewind Rounds and Deconstruct will constantly be refreshing the current magazine (assuming players are hitting their shots).
The biggest problem with the Ros Arago IV is it’s in the world loot pool. Players can’t focus their engrams to get one, and they’ll have to rely purely on luck to get the god roll they want to use. Dismantling gear and opening Gunsmith Engrams is a decent way to get a Ros Arago IV, and Banshee-14 himself might sell a good Ros Arago IV if the entire Destiny 2 community is lucky enough.
Terminal Overload on Neomuna is one of the best ways to farm for world drops. Finish the event, grab the loot from the chest, ride a sparrow out of the event zone, then go back to the chest. Players will be able to get loot from it a second time if they load in and out of the Terminal Overload zone fast enough.
