Hela is a rare Marvel Snap card that allows for playing multiple 6-Costs without spending Energy; here’s a META deck to optimize her effect.
Hela is an On Reveal card with a Cost and Power of six. When played, she retrieves all discarded cards and disperses them to different locations. Her unique ability helps generate massive Power by making up for the lack of Energy required to play big cards together. This Marvel Snap deckbuilding guide outlines how to assemble the best setup for Hela and make the most of her unstoppable effect.
Marvel Snap: The Best Martyr Deck
Martyr, the new one-cost, four-power card, is Marvel Snap’s latest naughty card; here’s how to build a consistent deck around her synergies.
The Best Deck for Hela
Hela shines in a powerhouse discard deck with Magneto and The Infinaut. Create this setup by uniting Hela, Magneto, and The Infinaut with Jubilee, Blade, White Tiger, Morbius, Lady Sif, Black Knight, Silver Samurai, Black Cat, and Red Skull.

The synergies of the deck are as follows:
- Blade, Lady Sif, and Silver Samurai help discard cards.
- Black Knight and Morbius gain from the discards.
- Jubilee and White Tiger summon powerhouses on the board for free.
- All the big cards (Magneto, Red Skull, Black Cat, and The Infinaut) are discarded.
- Hela resurrects all discarded cards in random locations.
How to Play the Hela Deck
When playing a Hela deck, dropping cards shouldn’t be a concern. Players must prioritize discarding powerful characters before the final round so she can summon them all.
Here is the ideal play sequence for Hela’s deck:
- Black Knight and Morbius hit the board early. The Knight adds a cheap card to hand with the Power of a discarded card (ideally, one of the big ones). Morbius earns passive buffs for each discard action.
- Blade hits The Infinaut or Magneto. The discarded card returns to hand as Black Knight’s Ebony Blade (and will be resurrected by Hela).
- Lady Sif targets another powerhouse. This could be Red Skull or even Black Cat. (Note that Black Cat can discard herself after remaining in hand for a turn).
- Jubilee draws a big card. On turn four, she can guarantee that one of the surviving powerhouses hits the board.
- Silver Samurai targets White Tiger. He also removes an enemy card, disrupting their strategy.
- Hela resurrects all discarded cards. On the final turn, Hela revives all the big cards and adds them to random locations.
How to Counter Hela
Hela can be countered with Cosmo and Leech. However, she’s also prone to clog and junk archetypes. Filling up her lanes before turn six with cards like Debrii, Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, and Annihilus would prevent her On Reveal effect.
