Genshin Impact an Honkai: Star Rail developer HoYoverse is going all out promoting its next big game Zenless Zone Zero, and today it introduced Anby.
Anby Demara is a member of the off-jobs agency named Gentle House AKA Cunning Hare, and today we get to see her in action alongside her boss Nicole Demara and her colleague Billy Kid, who received his own set of trailers a few days ago.
She’s pretty much a kuudere, which is an anime stereotype portraying a girl who shows little or no emotion, and her deadpan speech and expression make the trailer definitely funny.
Things are made even funnier by her interactions with Billy and especially Nicole, who actually steals the scene quite a few times.
She’s voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki in Japanese. You may know her as Mateion in Final Fantasy XIV, Sin in Goddess of Victory: Nikke, Ethel in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Elena in Star Ocean: The Divine Force, Iori Fuyusaka in 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, and quite a few more relevant roles.
As far as I can tell, her English voice has not been announced just yet, but you can hear her in the trailer below. The Japanese version can be found on the official YouTube channel if you’d rather hear Tanezaki-san.
If you’re unfamiliar with Zenless Zone Zero, it’s an upcoming urban fantasy action RPG announced for PC, iOS, and Android (at least for now).
It’s going to be free-to-play with the usual microtransactions and its second beta test titled “Equalizing Test” is currently ongoing.
If you’d like to learn plenty more details about this promising action RPG that should be coming soon, you can enjoy our interview with the producer which we conducted at Gamescom 2023, providing plenty of information about the game and how it differs from HoyoVerse’s existing offering.
