It is almost that most holy jolly of seasons, and what does that mean? Correct, the return of our favourite suited-up assassin as Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal gets a release date. Before the month is out, it will be time to step back in time to replay a classic from the sixth generation.

Originally released in 2006, Hitman: Blood Money quickly became the standout title from the franchise, and indeed in all of gaming. Featuring the ever-stoic Agent 47, our ruthless assassin takes on The Franchise, a rival organisation to the ICA, under the watchful eyes of Diana Burnwood. This was the first game to introduce Noterity, making future missions harder depending on how successful your stealth was.

After a few remasters, Blood Money is now coming to mobile devices in Reprisal through the capable hands of Feral Interactive who have a storied history of bringing AAA hits to iOS and Android. There will be a fully customisable user interface to fine-tune the game to any device, as well as full gamepad support.

It’s fair to say that revisiting an old favourite is a double-edged sword, a lot of games just don’t age well. To combat this, Feral has added a few modern gameplay options. Instinct Mode alongside a permanent minimap will offer a bigger view of the world to play your attack, whereas a new Warnings system will pop up whenever you get detected.

Beyond this, it is the same old classic Blood Money gameplay, with a host of weapons, disguises and tools available to use as you tackle each of the twelve sandbox missions. With a huge range of ways to complete each level, you will be able to replay this slice of updated nostalgia all from the palm of your hand.

Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal will be available November 30th on iOS and Android for $14.99, a reasonable price for a legend. You can pre-order now from the App Store and Google Play.
