Android users can head to the tracks early with Racing Masters Beta

NetEase Games has opened its doors to its car simulation game Racing Master in a beta lasting long into the month, with one caveat. If you have an Android device you can take part in this driving masterclass, but Apple users will have to wait for the real deal.

Racing Master has been developed on Codemasters physics engine and powered by Unreal 4, so it is backed by some pretty high tech to recreate some lifelike performance of all its vehicles. You will be able to sit behind the wheel of a stable of licensed vehicles, all ready to be fully customised.

During this Beta, players will be able to race around in over 35 licensed cars, including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Fords, as well as classic muscle cars like the Dodge SRT and Chevrolet Camaro. You will also be able to slap some paint on these beauties thanks to the Car Paint Studio. Then, take your artwork masterpieces out on legendary tracks like the Indianapolis.

You will be able to hit the tracks in both PvE and ranked PvP modes, with an updated Ranked Points system, based on individual car groups. For those that prefer racing around in packs, you can create and join Clubs, and join with your new friends in Endurance races to earn points and get your team to the top of the rankings.

Those who take part in this beta will earn a host of rewards for the launch version of the game, including exclusive outfits and decals, which is a bit odd since you won’t see your character much but there you go. Should you top-up with in-game currency, you will also gain a refund of up to 150% during the launch. Note their use of “up to”, don’t get carried away hoping for a goldmine.

Android users can sign up for the Racing Master Beta now and enjoy the realistic racing rush until November 28th.
