Long-suffering Grand Theft Auto fans have been waiting for the series’ next mainline instalment for over a decade now, and though the end is finally in sight, with Grand Theft Auto 6 set to be unveiled next month, GTA 5 continues to sell at an impressive rate, over a decade on from its launch.

Rockstar Games’ parent company Take-Two Interactive has confirmed in its recent quarterly fiscal presentation that Grand Theft Auto 5 has now shipped over 190 million units worldwide, up from 185 million earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Rockstar’s other open world behemoth, Red Dead Redemption 2, is maintaining a healthy pace with its sales as well. The epic Wester title has shipped over 57 million units worldwide, up from 55 million earlier this year.

Meanwhile, total franchise shipments for Grand Theft Auto now stand at 410 million units to date, and at 81 million units for Red Dead Redemption.
