Evan Kice’s open world adventure Zelda-inspired experience Afterplace ($6.99) was recently updated to bring in haptic feedback, support for either 30fps or 60fps gameplay, and various fixes following its Apple Design Award. Today, Afterplace has gotten another major update. This one brings in 120fps support, fixes for iPhone 15 (and XS), new armor, secret shrine, one additional ghost scene, more dialogue, optional boss changes and more. I’m glad to see 120fps support added in alongside the other new features and fixes. Watch the Afterplace trailer below:
If you’ve not played it yet, read what Jared thinks of the game from its iOS launch here and head over to our forum thread for more discussion around the game here. Check out the official website here. You can buy Afterplace on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here. Apple also did a feature on the design of Afterplace in an interview with Evan. Read it here. It is good to see so much added and improved for an already polished experience. Have you played Afterplace yet on iOS or Android?
