Collecting online digital cards in MTG Arena will be impossible if the game’s servers are undergoing issues or even some scheduled maintenance. Well, if you are here, that might as well be the case. Here is how to check the MTG Arena server status.

MTG Arena: How to check server status

Thankfully, Magic: The Gathering Arena features several official channels that will communicate any server issues or scheduled maintenance to all of their player base. On top of that, there are some third-party sites and player forums that you can also visit to check whether some issues are happening on your side or on the developers’ side. Be that as it may, here is how to check the MTG Arena server status:

  • Visit the official MTG Arena Status page. Not only will they indicate any server issue or maintenance, but they will detail exactly how much time will it take to fix or update, as well as what to expect once the game gets back online
  • Check the MTG Arena official Wizards Help X handle. While the main MTG Arena X handle will handle game announcements, the Wizards Help X handle will address any technical and connectivity issues, including server outages or maintenance periods.
  • Visit the DownForEveryoneOrJustMe MTG Arena page. Users will log in and report any issues and the site will compile them all and give a verdict. This might not be an official source, but you can use it as a quick reference.
  • Check the Magic: The Gathering Discussion tab in Steam. If there are players who are unable to access their game of choice, then you are certainly going to hear about it in the forums! Check the Discussion page and you will have an idea if there is something happening regarding server stability and connectivity issues.
