A game racking up three million downloads is pretty impressive, especially when that’s just from one country like Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage. Soon the rest of the world will be able to take part in the mecha fighting fun, as the Global Version is due to launch on October 17th.
Engage is a war/strategy battle game that brings together all the Gundam characters across the Universal Century for some 6v6 mecha mayhem. You can participate in the Story Mode, looking back at the rich Mobile suit history with new stages added each month, and set your battles to autoplay if you want to admire the 3D goodness.
If you are a fan of the Mobile Suit universe, there have been a few good games out of the admittedly not steller lineup, then you are in luck, as the pre-registration goals have all been smashed. All players will get 4,500 Diamonds and a UR Gundam to start their collection off big, so it is worth getting in early for the bonuses.

Is all that not enough? Then fret not you greedy little loot goblin, as you can earn more shinies from the in-game campaign. You can get your hands on various great rewards, including a further 5,000 Diamonds. That’s nearly 10,000 to start off with, a pretty generous amount and one that will no doubt see you auto-battling the first few stages easily.

Unveil the secrets behind the Universal Century in this, at the time of printing, four-part series, starting with “New Gundam and protagonist come to light”.
