With just nearly a week remaining until the highly-anticipated release of WarioWare: Move It!, Nintendo is building up excitement by sharing additional insights into the latest addition to the WarioWare series. Today, Nintendo has offered a closer look at its gameplay, featuring its microgames, modes, and more.

As with its predecessor, WarioWare: Move It! challenges players with movement-based microgames. Unlike the previous Get It Together! release for Switch, Move It! returns to the traditional gameplay style of the series, relying on the Switch’s Joy-Con motion sensor as its main gameplay mechanic.

In WarioWare: Move It!, players will use a pair of Joy-Con Switch controllers and perform lively physical movements. Players will gently shake, punch, dance, wiggle, and even curtsey through over 200 lightning-fast microgames, each lasting just a few hilarious seconds. Players will clear these microgames using different poses called “Forms.” Some of these minigames involve perfecting forms, requiring players to perform unique movements.

WarioWare: Move It! introduces a Story Mode set on a tropical island where Wario and his friends were given Form Stones, believed to bring good luck. Within this mode, players will help Wario clear a series of lightning-fast microgames to escape the Woods Watchers. As they progress, players will have access to extra stages, with microgames that will get players moving from head to toe, and others played at very high speed.

The Story Mode can be played solo using a pair of Joy-Con controllers, and for those seeking some lively couch co-op action, a second player can join the fun with an additional set of Joy-Con controllers. Furthermore, the game offers local co-op experiences for up to four players, with each player using a single Joy-Con controller, reminiscent of a board game with quirky Wario-style rules.

WarioWare: Move It! is scheduled to launch on November 3, 2023, for the Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders are now open on the Nintendo eShop, priced at $49.99.
