Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: How to do a Loop De Loop

The thing about Loop De Loop in Spider-Man 2 is it isn’t automatically unlocked the second you start the game. Instead, it’s a skill you need to unlock on the shared skill tree. Luckily, it’s the second skill you can unlock after Slingshot Launch.

The Slingshot Launch only needs one skill point to unlock, as does Loop De Loop, and skill points are acquired as you level up. In theory, you can unlock the Loop De Loop skill at level 2. No Tech Parts required.

Once you’ve unlocked the Loop De Loop skill, you perform a Loop De Loop by diving with R3 and pressing R2 to web swing. If you don’t already have some good momentum or if your dive isn’t long or fast enough, you won’t perform the Loop De Loop even if you do everything right. Get enough speed, dive, sling a web, hold on, and you’re doing a Loop De Loop in Spider-Man 2.

The Loop De Loop is more than just a cool move. Loop De Loop is used to make you go a lot faster. At the end of your loop, you’ll get a big speed boost, which is where I would deploy web wings to really soar. The exploration in Spider-Man 2 is made so much better because of Loop De Loop and web wings.

If you ever forget how to Loop De Loop in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, you can open the move list by pressing the middle pad. Scroll down to traversal and, if you have the Loop De Loop skill unlocked, you’ll see how to perform the move.
