Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Grand Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars are now available on mobile devices. While there is a trial for anyone, there are limitations. Anyone with GTA+ will be able to bypass these limitations, so it’s a good reason to pay for at least a month’s subscription to play these two games.
As announced by Rockstar, two GTA games, Liberty City Stories and China Town Wars, will be accessible on iOS and Android devices. Anyone can play for 30 minutes for free and then will need to buy the full game to play further. Anyone subscribed to GTA+ can also access the full game by logging in with their Rockstar Games Social Club account linked to their console and having an active GTA+ Membership. If already done, they can sign in and play the game for free.
GTA+ is only $5.99 a month, so you get both of these games without needing to pay the cost of them. Until November 8, GTA+ Members can also get exclusive GTA Online perks, like the new Albany Brigham at The Vinewood Car Club and Double Rewards in Halloween Deathmatches. You also get a bonus of $500,000 cash credited to your in-game Maze Bank account. Visit the GTA+ website for more information. That’s one great deal, especially when you only need one month to finish the games.
This is Rockstar marketing at its finest, because before there was only Rockstar’s GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition. Upon its release, this version caused a great deal of uproar among fans and is considered one of the worst releases of that year. Chinatown Wars and Liberty City Stories are beloved and great reasons to subscribe to GTA+.
We’ll see how far this goes because subscribing to a publisher is strange – looking at you Ubisoft and EA – but this publisher subscription model may be the future.
