The old Fortnite map is nearly confirmed to return next season. According to leakers, Kado Thorne’s time machine will malfunction, sending the game back to Chapter 1. Besides the leaks, Epic Games has also hinted at the return of the old map but hasn’t confirmed it yet.
One of the recent Fortnite leaks claims that the old map will be available as a separate island in the Creative mode. If this does happen, players will be able to create their own game modes by adjusting the map’s settings, pool loot, and other options.
This is certainly an exciting Fortnite leak, and here’s what we know about it.
Players will probably be able to edit the old Fortnite map
The old Fortnite map was destroyed at The End event in October 2019. The event was incredible and resulted in the longest downtime the game has ever seen. However, it appears that we’ll soon be able to relive the past, and we might see another Black Hole.
According to Egyptian Fortnite Leaker, the Chapter 1 map should come to Fortnite Creative as well. It will be an editable map, meaning that players will be able to create their own games in it. This is a perfect chance for players to recreate their favorite limited-time game modes, including 50v50.
Epic Games released Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) earlier this year. However, the company quickly demonetized Chapter 1 recreations, imploring creators to be original. Epic has likely planned to bring the old Fortnite map for a long time and has prepared everything for it.
The release date of the map is currently unknown, but we expect it to come out in Chapter 4 – Season 5. According to the videogame creator, the next Fortnite season will come out on Friday, November 3. Its release day might be postponed by a few days, but we’re hoping this won’t be the case.
