Eternal Fury, Game Hollywood’s massively popular browser-based MMORPG, has just received its biggest content update of the year.
New Era—or Eternal Fury 4.0—sees you returning to Dawn City in the aftermath of Jörmungandr’s devastating attack and attempting to restore peace to the world.
In gameplay terms, that means exploring a whole new continent replete with uncharted territory, rare items, and secret treasures. There are new story chapters to finish, too, linked to eight magnificent in-game wonders.
Plus, there are ore resource points to compete for in PvP Mayhem. It’s worth fighting hard for these, since you’ll need all the help you can get when the hotly anticipated 13 Castles update lands.
But the highlight of Eternal Fury: New Era is undoubtedly the Siege and Defend system, which sees you capturing, recapturing, and defending territories and guild castles as you engage in endless combat with your fellow players.
There’s a diverse hierarchy of city types to occupy and defend, including Towns, Castles, and Royal City. Each type has its own level of strategic role to play, and you can maximise your tactical strength by forging canny alliances with other players and their cities.
Battles for cities take place over three distinct phases: Preparation, Battle, and Exemption. The actual fighting phase takes a full hour to play out, giving you plenty of time to turn the tide through tactics and teamwork.
Or to pound your enemies into dust with a range of deadly siege vehicles.
Once they’ve been declared by a guild, these City Battles can take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays between 14:00 and 21:00. Oh, and you can take part in as many of them as you like.
