Life is made up of many small moments and that’s a core focus of the final story trailer released for Pixel Cafe, a new narrative cafe simulator. While they’ll be working a day job at different cafes, this new trailer focuses much more on the character’s influences and motivations to move forward despite facing rejection.

The trailer focuses heavily on the main character’s, Pixel, ability to impress people with her food, much of which she learned from her grandmother. As she faces seemingly endless rejection from different people in this new city, she remembers what her grandmother told her about persevering. Even the negative moments are worth it because they are part of what has made you.

There is a variation in pixel styles, with the more serious narrative moments seeming like they’re detailed close-ups and the serving portions featuring smaller avatars. This could also complement the variation in tone between the narrative and cafe gameplay, showing a distinction between somber and light-hearted moments.

With this being the final story trailer released for Pixel Cafe, this could be a sign that the game is nearing the end of development. Players who are interested in the game following this trailer can wishlist the title on Steam to show their appreciation ahead of release.
