Epic Games has had a pretty successful season of Fortnite so far, with players logging into the game to try their hand at the heists while earning the latest cosmetics. This is going to get a little harder in the near future, as Epic Games made the announcement today that the price of real money bundles and V-Bucks are going up starting on Oct. 27.

The developer made this announcement through a blog post that was then shared with players through the Fortnite Status account on Twitter. According to the official blog post, users in the United States can expect the V-Bucks prices to go up from a dollar for 1,000 V-Bucks to a $10 increase for the 13,500 V-Bucks bundle.

These changes go into effect in exactly a month and will impact at least 10 countries and the European Union, but the price change is not going into effect for the Fortnite Crew Subscription yet. However, it is the only real-money bundle to not be affected, so players should keep an eye out just in case.

Epic Games doesn’t give exact reasoning for the price change, but states that it is due to economic factors like “inflation and currency fluctuations.” This change will follow an increase earlier this past summer when Epic increased the price for Fortnite bundles in Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.
