A new graphics comparison video has come in for Mortal Kombat 1, showing how the Switch version stacks up to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, and PC (Steam Deck) releases.
It seems that a number of compromises were made to get the fighter running on Switch with several adjustments having been implemented. Character models, geometry, textures, shadows, and more are all scaled back on Switch. The game also has a lower resolution on Switch as expected.
As far as performance is concerned, Mortal Kombat 1 is targeting 60 frames per second. However, tests show that the action can dip into the 50s, with up-close moves bringing it down further to 30.
