War Thunder player has leaked restricted documents on the official forums, AGAIN.

This is the twelfth time this has happened according to Wikipedia and the second time in only several weeks.

Unlike last time, where just the offending link was removed; War Thunder nuked the entire thread.

This time, a user allegedly leaked classified pages from a flight manual which included such data as:

  • Location of sensors
  • Firing angles
  • Engine Specifications
  • and more

Some Twitter users were quick to point out that the information actually isn’t Classified; but as we learned in the last leak a few weeks ago: unclassified doesn’t necessarily mean free to distribute. The specifications for the vehicle in the last leak, the Eurofighter Typhoon DA7 are embargoed for non-NATO countries.

War Thunder has been available on Windows PC, Linux, Mac (all via Steam), Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

A basement-dwelling ogre, Brandon’s a fan of indie games and slice of life anime. Has too many games and not enough time.
