For the first time in over a year, ZSC defeated EHC Kloten and won the derby. Friborg defeated Zug, while Biel narrowly defeated Bern. All results are here.

ZSC Lions – Kloten 3:1

ZSC Lions are back at the top of the table with four consecutive wins. At home to Kloten, they registered their first win in the Zurich derby in 14 months, despite Denis Malkin missing out through illness. Jesper Fröden (No. 6) and Juho Lammiko (No. 14) scored early to put the champions on the road to victory.

Sven Andrighetto added his own goal in the 36th minute after Niko Ojamöäkis scored just 38 seconds after Kloten entered midfield. The tenth goal of the season restored the two-goal lead. Since then, ZSC's 12th victory in their 13th home game of the season was never in danger again.

Bill – Bern 0:1

The second state matchup of the night between Bill and Berne turned into a game of patience. The first and only goal of the game, his 13th of the season, was not scored until the 49th minute in front of a crowd of 6,400 at Bills Arena. Bern's top scorer this season had his contract extended just this week.

SCB's match-winner was goalkeeper Philip Wüthrich, who like many others will leave the club at the end of the season. The Bern native, who will move to Ambry-Piotta, kept the visitors in the game with a number of strong saves.

SCL Tigers – Embry Piota 4:1

That changed with the team's 4-1 win over Embry-Piotta on Friday. The Tigers laid the foundation for their first home win in 37 days with an early double buzz.

Joshua Fahrni (No. 6) and Phil Baltisberger (No. 7) scored within 71 seconds to make it 1-0 and 2- 0. With all three points, Emmental's ranking jumped from 11th to 8th, while Embry fell out of the playoff ranks.

Rapperswil-Jonah Lakers – Servetus 3:4 nP

After three recent losses, the Rappersville-Jonah Lakers are getting back to their winning ways at home against formidable opponent Geneve Servert. St. Gallen scored a goal each in the first, second and third periods and twice took the lead in the penalty shootout with a score of 3-3 after 65 minutes – but it was not enough.

Finnish Ulla Parvi converted two penalties to help Servette win for the third consecutive time. The loss wasn't entirely unexpected for the Lakers: They lost their eighth straight game to Geneva.

Arjui – Lugano 5:4 nV

Among them, against the weak Lugano away game, Ajoy's wonderful home series seemed to end. Calvin Thürkauf's powerful goal made it 3-0 after 35 minutes and Ticino looked like a sure winner in the Jura Mountains. But Ajoy equalized before scoring for the second time, and again in the 57th minute after Lugano took the lead again.

In overtime, Arnold Nussbaumer saved the home team with a score of 4:4. There, the 22-year-old striker completed Ajoy's five-game winning streak at home with his second goal of the night, turning the pitch into a madhouse.
