Swisscom, Sunrise and Salt's mobile networks have once again received top ratings from industry magazine Connect. But testers also noticed differences.

The latest results for Switzerland's three largest providers, Swisscom, Sunrise and Salt, are now available. Spoiler: Only minor changes from last year, as can be seen in test reports released on Tuesday night (see source).

Here you will find the most important things.

How is it tested?

During this test, the “Connect” experts traveled a total of approximately 6,230 kilometers in Switzerland. The so-called road test went through 24 big cities and 17 small towns.

In addition, walking tests are being carried out in eight cities, including train stations, airports, cafes, museums and public transport. According to “Connect”, the measurement activity covered about 2.3 million residents, equivalent to about 25.7% of the Swiss population.

A novelty in this year's test is the inclusion of video chat in the assessment. According to Connect, this reflects the growing importance of such communication services in daily use.
