Donald Trump is well on his way to becoming President of the United States again. Although he did lie as printed. His appearance right after the vote was the best symbol of that.

Donald Trump rightfully voted for himself on Election Day. He and his wife, Melania, voted at a polling station in their hometown of Palm Beach, Florida.

What follows is a wild performance. He would sometimes say innocuous sentences such as “I'm very confident,” but then launch into a series of lies. It's even extraordinary for Trump, given the sheer scale.

“Washington Post” statistics: Trump lied a total of 15 times in 15 minutes.

Here are five of the “best” fake news stories he’s told the media.

Donald Trump and the Immigration Lies

Immigration was one of Donald Trump's main issues during his campaign. After being elected, he said:

“13,000 people convicted of murder were allowed into our country.”

This is extremely wrong. Trump was referring to an official report. Things he keeps silent about: Those numbers refer to four (!) decades, including his own tenure. AND: Many of the people mentioned are in prison.

Donald Trump and the Lies on Trial

“I won the big cases. I won all the cases.”

This is what Donald Trump said about the trial he must answer in court. Question: Trump has not won any lawsuits. The fact is that he succeeded in having many of these projects delayed for so long that decisions were not made until after the election.

Donald Trump and Oprah's lies

“You know, Oprah. I was on their last show. She chose the greatest people for it.” Oprah Winfrey is one of the most talkative figures on American television, Trump has had a strange tendency over the years to claim that he was her guest at the end of her show. This is wrong. Trump appeared on Oprah three and a half months before the show ended.

Donald Trump and the lies of Fox News

“I think what Fox has done is a disgrace. Everyone thinks Fox is pro-Trump. But they are absolutely not.” Trump's attacks on his home and court are notable because: Fox and Its hosts still like Trump very, very much. Yes, there is some subtle criticism out there from time to time. and Kamala Harris Fox was allowed to be interviewed. But the station is still a Trump station for now.

Donald Trump and the lies about his election loss

“If I lose an election, if it's a fair election, I'll be the first to admit it.”

It's almost a good joke. Because: Donald Trump still claims that the election he lost in 2020 was “stolen.” Although there is no evidence to date that election fraud actually occurred.

BTW: In Trump-voting Florida, particularly strict rules apply to convicted criminals during the election. In many cases, you don't have the right to vote. Trump was convicted of illegal hush money payments to porn actresses but was still allowed to vote. The reason: He was convicted in New York. That means New York rules apply to him. Criminals can vote there as long as they are not serving time in prison at the time of the election.
