The son of a BBC legend is following in his famous father's footsteps with a new job in radio.
Mark Vaughan, 51, son of Sir Terry Vaughan, has landed a new role at Virgin Radio UK.
The entrepreneur and podcast host joked about his new job: 'I'm delighted to once again accept my status as the world's oldest. No child.
“It’s fantastic to have the Vaughan name on the radio again and I’m delighted to be on air with Virgin Radio UK.”
Mark is the owner and operator of the popular pizzeria Homeslice Pizza and hosts the podcast Spooning with Mark Vaughan.
The podcast features him dining with a celebrity guest at two notable London venues: the Groucho Club in Soho and The Mount Street Restaurant in Mayfair.

Stuart Davies, content manager at Virgin Radio UK, added of his new role: “Mark has many stories to tell and I'm sure our listeners will enjoy his knowledge, style and that soft voice he inherited from his father.”
Sir Terry Wogan, who died in 2016, was a radio and television broadcaster who worked for the BBC in England for most of his career.
Between 1993 and his semi-retirement in December 2009, his BBC Radio 2 weekday breakfast show, Wake Up to Wogan, consistently attracted eight million viewers.
Last month, Mark confirmed the death of Terry's wife Lady Helen in a touching Instagram post.
She shared a black and white photo of her parents on the social media site with the caption 'Lady Helen Vaughan – 1936-2024'.
Lady Helen was married to the late broadcaster for more than 50 years before he died of cancer in January 2016.
The couple shared four children and five grandchildren.
Her son Mark paid tribute to a “lovely” mother and grandmother as he announced his mother's death.

He wrote: “Our beautiful mother left us last night after a wonderful life. From a young Irish girl to Lady Vaughan, she was the epitome of style and grace.
'A mother, grandmother and wife, with love and compassion at her core. A strength and faith that accompanied her through life's many trials.
'The sense of humor and the way of expressing himself will make you laugh.
'A perfect lady in every way. She and Dad share a vodka martini and hope we don't make too much of a fuss. We love you mom, now and always.'
Celebrities shared their condolences while paying tribute to Lady Helen in the comments section.
Jeremy Clarkson wrote: 'It's terrible when it happens. Thinking of you.
Eamonn Holmes said: 'I'm really sorry to hear that, Mark. What a woman and what a couple. My deepest condolences to you.'

Sir Terry Wogan received his knighthood as a broadcaster in 2016 with his wife Lady Helen.
Sir Terry died of cancer on 31 January 2016 at the age of 77.

Lady Helen married Sir Terry in April 1965 at a local parish church in Rathmins, Dublin.
The couple lived together in a house in Taplow, Buckinghamshire, but also had a second home in Gascogne, south-west France.
Sir Terry died of cancer on 31 January 2016 at the age of 77.
