A center dedicated to music legend David Bowie will open in September 2026.
The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London displays more than 90,000 iconic items from the singer's illustrious career to honor his fans and others.
The musician, affected by cancer, died in January 2016 at the age of 69 after being diagnosed with liver disease.
The Bowie Special Collection includes instruments, notebooks, guest instructors and handwritten lyrics, including Fame (1975), Heroes (1977) and Ashes to Ashes (1980).
It also includes examples of clothing worn during his Ziggy Stardust era and the “chopped” writing style introduced to Bowie by writer William Burroughs.

In his 2008 MailOnline column, Bowie explained what the method entailed: “You write one or two paragraphs describing various topics that make up a kind of narrative material (a list, I think) and then cut the sentences into four or five.” -pieces of words; Mix them and combine them again.

While fans will have to wait until September 2026 for the David Bowie Center to open, the doors to the V&A East Storehouse will open in spring 2025.
It comes after David was asked to return to the stage in a hologram eight years after his death on ABBA's hit tour.
Talks are reportedly underway to produce the animated adventure of his career, and a name has been formally registered in a category that includes Avatars, According the sun.
A source told the publication: 'Avatar shows are big business and ABBA's incredible show has proven there is huge demand.
“Having David back on stage as a hologram will be huge.”
