He has played just 16 matches this year and in that span he has won 70.2% of his service games and 63.3% of his first serves.
His return game was disappointing in 2024, converting only 39.1% of his break points and winning 27.3% of his return games.

A quarter-final appearance at the Ningbo Open could help restore the confidence of Bianca Haddad Mia, who has been eliminated in the round of 16 or earlier in her two previous WTA events.
The Brazilian is seeking her first victory on tour since winning the Hannah Bank Open on hard courts in September. Daria Kasatkina (1-6 6-4 6-1).
Haddad Mia, the second seed in the event, is undefeated in her first match on Asian soil since defeating Jasmine Paulini at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships (6-4, 4-6, 0-6).
In 2024, despite recording 192 double faults, he won 70.5% of his service games, and hit fewer aces (125).
Haddad Mia has addressed some of those shortcomings by winning 54.6% of her return points and converting 47.1% of her break points.
Meanwhile, he won 65.5% of his first serves this year and was able to save 59.8% of his break points, which played a big role in him winning 58.8% of his service points.

When they met again years later at Flushing Meadows, Haddad Mia committed six double faults as the Canadian won 60% of his second serves, while his opponent won only 31%.

We've seen more consistency from Hadad Mia in 2024, so we expect her to get a close win against Andreescu, who is trying to regain her form from previous years.
