Netflix, which produced Jolie's latest film, hosted a special screening with a question-and-answer session for attendees.
This biographical film shows the legendary opera singer María Callas, considered one of the greatest singers of all time, during her last days in Paris. Callas died in September 1977.
At the film's London premiere, Jolie, known for her dramatic, action-packed roles, spoke about the challenge of playing an opera superstar.
'I had a wonderful director [Pablo Larraín] Someone who supported me, made me feel safe and believed in me,” she told Irish Independence.
Speaking of her new singing voice, the eternal student explained: 'It's such a gift to be able to take lessons and be in the moment of learning a new skill in your life.'
“I had amazing teachers, I was this extraordinary person and I'm in their shoes, and I love them.”

In doing so, the girl said the interrupted star found her own voice. 'I didn't know I could sing and for a while I didn't express things loud and clear.
Maria will be in select theaters on November 27 and will begin streaming on Netflix on December 11.
