Liam is an incredible songwriter with a great sense of melody and we've always talked about going back into the studio to try and recreate the songwriting chemistry we developed in the band. And for the record, Liam was, in my opinion, the most important part of One Direction.
His experience from an early age, his perfect ear, his stage presence, his gift for writing. The list goes on and on. Thanks for molding us, Liam. A message for you Liam, if you're listening, I feel very lucky to have you in my life, but I'm struggling with the idea of saying goodbye. We've become even closer since forming the band, talking on the phone for hours and remembering the thousands of incredible memories we've had together is a luxury I thought I'd have with you for the rest of my life. I wish I could share the stage with you again, but that's not the case.
I want you to know that if Bear ever needs me, I will be the uncle he needs in his life and tell him how wonderful his dad is.
I wish I had the chance to tell you once again how much I loved you and say goodbye. Paino, my boy, one of my best friends, my brother, I love you, man. They last well.

“Liam, I found myself talking out loud to you and I hope you hear me. I couldn't help but selfishly wonder if we would have many more conversations in our lives.
I could never thank them for supporting me through some of the most difficult times in my life. When I was 17 and homesick, you always had a positive attitude and a reassuring smile. He said he was my friend and that I was loved.
Although you are younger than me, you are always wise. He was stubborn and stubborn and didn't mind telling people when they were wrong. Although we've clashed over it a few times, I've always secretly respected you for it.
When it comes to music, Liam, you deserve it in every way. I have no idea in comparison, I'm a new guy with no experience and you're already a pro.
It was always a pleasure meeting you and no matter what was happening on stage we could always tell which direction the ship was heading.
I lost a brother when you left us and I can't explain what I would give to hold you one last time, say goodbye properly and tell you that I loved and appreciated you so much. Memories with you in my heart. There are no words to justify or explain how I feel right now, other than devastation. Wherever you are now I hope you are well and at peace and know how much you are loved. I love you, brother.
