Johnny Manziel is impressed with Colorado Quarterback Shades of Sanders so far this season.

The Heisman Trophy winner believes Sanders can be the top quarterback in the upcoming NFL draft.

“Shedeur will definitely be a guy to watch and will likely be the best point guard on the board this year. He's performed well on the field at times, his guys have been out this week, and he's still putting up good numbers and “To find a way to play really well,” Manziel said during a recent episode. Colorado is 4-2 on the season, thanks in large part to Sanders' strong play. Sanders completed 72.6% of his passes, throwing for 2,018 yards with 17 touchdowns and just four interceptions.

The Buffaloes lost their last game to 18th-ranked Kansas State 31-28, but Sanders played well despite top targets and Heisman candidate Travis Hunter, who left the game with an injury.

Sanders completed 34 of 40 passes for 388 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.

Despite Sanders' strong play, Manziel wasn't convinced that some of the teams at the top of the draft board would take Sanders given their current quarterback situation.
