Tomasz Tuchel has agreed to a deal to become the new England manager.
The 51-year-old German will permanently replace Gareth Southgate as Three Lions boss, who stepped down in the summer following the heartbreak of the 2024 Euro Final defeat to Spain.
He is expected to fly to England this week to complete his appointment formalities.
The former Chelsea Boss is only the third non-English manager of the England men's national team and the first since Fabio Capello left in 2012.
A press conference is expected to be held at Wembley tomorrow at 1.30pm to announce his appointment. FA chief executive Mark Bullingham will attend.
The FA has been polling a number of candidates, including Pep Guardiola and Eddie Howe, for the England manager position, which is currently held by Lee Carsleyam on an interim basis.
However, talks between Tuchel and the FA accelerated rapidly today.

The FA knew about Liverpool and Manchester United's interest in Tuchel, according to Eryk ten Hagzostasko.
Tuchel has an impressive CV, winning league titles with Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, as well as the Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup with Chelsea.
However, this will no doubt be viewed as a controversial move by the FA due to England's rivalry with their native Germany.
England captain Harry Kane played under Tuchel at Bayern Munich last season and spoke earlier today of his former boss's links to the job.
“I obviously know Thomas well from last year. Fantastic coach, fantastic person, so I'm sure the FA guys will contact me when they know more about it,” he said.
Defeat at Brentford this weekend could have consequences for Ten Haga's position at Old Trafford, with Tuchel a candidate for the United job if the Dutchman is sacked.
However, the FA moved quickly to sign Tuchel, who has emerged as a prime candidate for the England job due to his title-winning record, which appeals to the FA.
The fact that Tuchel knows English football from his days with Chelsea and working with captain Harry Kane at Bayern Munich is an obvious bonus.
It is understood that he is effectively on gardening leave after leaving his previous job at Bayern, which could have financial implications for the FA, but there is nothing that could derail the deal.

Tuchel wants to return to work and found working in England an attractive proposition. Last night the FA refused to comment on the matter.
Time will tell whether Carsley will remain as interim coach for the games against Greece and Ireland in November.
On Saturday evening, Mail Sport reported that the FA had serious reservations about whether Carsley wanted to stay in the job permanently.
The governing body wanted to review the situation after November's Nations League matches against Greece and Ireland.
However, internal doubts have emerged over Carsley's appetite for the role in recent days following a series of public comments that were interpreted as the 50-year-old distancing himself from the full-time vacancy.
Carsley had the support of the FA, but the feeling that he was not fully convinced to take over permanently led the FA to effectively exclude the former Everton midfielder from standing and move to make Tuchel their new boss.
Guardiola was seen as a dream candidate by the governing body, but the FA has received no encouragement from the current Manchester City manager since the first interview in July.
