Former President Donald Trump interrupted a town hall in Pennsylvania on Monday, holding off questions from the audience after two medical emergencies occurred in the crowd.
The campaign town hall at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center & Fairgrounds in Oaks, Pennsylvania, first came to a halt as South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, the event's host, discussed Vice President Kamala Harris' appearance on “The View” and sharply criticized the Democratic candidate's support for President Biden's energy policies.
“Wait. “I'm asking for a doctor,” Trump interjected, noticing the confusion in the crowd. “Doctor, thank you very much. We have amazing people. They get here a few hours early and it's a little hot.”
“They are with us all the time. We have to respect them,” Trump continued, referring to his supporters. “And take your time, doctor. Take your time. Thank you very much. There are always great doctors in our audience. We've never had any major problems. Look at the quality of our care. It's amazing when you think that these people, the first responders, our first responders, are amazing.”

The incident was not caught on camera, although The New York Post reported that “a stocky, middle-aged man was carried away on a stretcher with his shirt cut open.”
“Let's wait until they take care of this amazing person who I guarantee is a great patriot, I guarantee it,” Trump said. “Everyone in this room is patriotic.”
The Republican presidential candidate demanded that “Ave Maria” be played over the loudspeaker, as was the case at his recent rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in honor of firefighter Corey Comperatore, a rally attendee who died in the first attempt on Trump's life on July 13.
“We will pray for him,” Noem said of the man who was wheeled away before asking another question from the audience.

Trump began his response about border security, before the crowd again shouted about another medical incident. The former president stood up and looked at the crowd, stating, “Take your time, doctor.”
“I wish we could open this door,” Trump said. “For security reasons they can't. But you know what I said? Just open it. Because anyone who walks through that door, you know what will happen to them.”
“It looks like, sir, she's already up and left. Let's encourage her,” Noem said. “I know it's really warm here. Everyone agrees that it's really warm here. We have many people who love America. Please, if you have a chair, maybe sit down so that everyone around you can sit down and continue to meet with the president.”

“They both feel good. Yes, they are both in good condition. And that's great,” Trump said of two people in the audience who needed medical attention.
Trump then chose not to take any more questions from the audience and called on organizers to play music in the room instead.
