Radio presenter Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald has revealed the eye-watering sum he spent on tickets to Oasis' long-awaited 2025 reunion tour.

Overjoyed to be able to snag some of the most popular tickets in town, he explained: 'I tried to get Oasis tickets, guys, and they were safe.

'I had to get the presale ballot and then went to the reservation yesterday. But yeah… not cheap.'

He revealed that he bought eight tickets in presale and spent $330 per ticket for him and his friends to see the anticipated gig.

Despite the massive price tag, Fitzi said tickets are not in the prime, but usually in the back of the standing area.

He said, 'I don't want to stand a little away from the stage.'

Responding to allegations of price gouging, LiveNation chairman Koppel asserted that price gouging is as common as any other sector amid a cost-of-living crisis.

He said: 'The average ticket price for a live show in Australia in 2004 was $75. The average price last year was $128. The reality is, haven't prices quadrupled in 20 years?'

'There are six out of 2,700 live venues in Australia. We are a really small ticket company. Ticketmaster is a smaller ticketing company than Ticketek in this market,' he added.
