The natural path for the show was to have John Henry Irons as the main character in a world without Superman. Irons and Clark Kent became very close friends in previous seasons of the DC series, fighting side by side several times on the field. Superman and Steel saved the world together, so DC's Iron Man taking over Superman's duties is the right choice. Steel has all the experience that Jordan lacksand with his intelligence, super suit, and Starlight's help, he can replace Superman.
