Kamala Harris is facing the wrath of TIME's owner after she refused to participate in an interview with the renowned news magazine.
Since the takeover, the vice president has refused to participate in an interview with several traditional media outlets Joe Biden's Democratic presidential campaign for the 2024 presidential election and has faced a wave of criticism for her sparse media strategy.
Marc Benioff wrote on X about his disappointment, claiming that Time magazine had contacted the presidential candidate several times about the interview.
“Despite repeated requests, TIME did not agree to an interview with Kamala Harris – unlike every other presidential candidate,” the owner wrote on Sunday.
Benioff posted a link to interviews Time magazine conducted with former President Donald Trump and President Biden while he was still running for re-election in 2024.

“We believe in transparency and publish each interview in its entirety,” he added in the post. “Why isn't the vice president engaging with the public on the same level?”
The condemnation of Harris' refusal to do a magazine interview comes as CBS News faces backlash for favorably editing a 60 Minutes interview with the candidate.
A Time magazine article published on October 10 titled What Kind of President Would Kamala Harris Be? notes that the vice president “declined multiple interview requests for this story.”
“In contrast, Trump talked about his policy vision with a TIME reporter for 90 minutes in two interviews. “Biden spoke to TIME for just as long before withdrawing from the race,” they added in the article.
Critics, especially pro-MAGA social media accounts, are questioning Harris' media strategy ahead of the election.
There are only 22 days until next month's election, and Harris hasn't gone through a full court press on media appearances, as most candidates typically do in the run-up to Election Day.
Vice President Harris's media strategy has been questioned by critics after she eschewed many traditional and traditional media outlets in favor of more alternative media – such as the raunchy, sex-focused podcast Call Her Daddy
The VP has participated in several questionable interviews, such as the raunchy and sex-focused podcast Call Her Daddy. She also skipped some more traditional interviews, such as Time magazine and legacy TV stations, to instead appear on radio shows such as Howard Stern and Charlamagne Tha God, whom she will meet with on Tuesday in Detroit.
Harris, however, agreed to a few select traditional sit-down interviews – such as on “60 Minutes” and on CNN, where she appeared alongside her running mate and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.
While declining to be interviewed by Time, Harris posted about a photo shoot for perhaps the most famous fashion magazine.
Vogue magazine published a glowing profile of the vice president on Friday, revealing a long story about what her life has been like since Biden left and she took over his campaign.
Harris gave an interview and took part in a photo session with famous photographer Annie Leibovitz on October 7 at the vice president's residence.
The cover described Harris as “the candidate of our times” and showed her wearing a Gabriela Hearst suit and $800 Tiffany earrings.
