Now days after treating the incident as a 'warning', Carol has revealed that she is doing 'fine' but how she knows she needs to take it easy for her health.

Speaking at the Cheltenham Literary Festival, she told The Mirror: 'I'm fine, I've had all the tests and everything, but I can't work seven-day weeks anymore, so I'm going to focus more on social media in the future than traveling up to London. time.'

'But it's a really good thing, you know when you have it in bed, you can reach. I see a little… ah, two hours later.'

Carole announced her decision to quit her radio show on Friday to her fans, telling her Instagram followers: 'Hello, I have some news to share with you.

'After working 7-day weeks for as long as I can remember, I finally burned out two weeks ago and ended up in the hospital overnight.

'Thankfully, after many scans and tests, we knew I had no underlying health problems.

'So, after talking to my family and my friends properly, I've taken the health scare as a warning sign to slow down a bit, and I've decided to reduce my work to weekdays.'

Carole was heartbroken to take a step back from her role at LBC: 'It pains me to have to do it, but I've decided not to. Follow my Sunday show on @LBC.

'With so many new callers from all over the country and a growing number of listeners, the show has been so lively and a total delight that I am saddened to have to make the decision.
