A beloved member of the Home and Away production crew has passed away.
Bruce Murray, who served as a key behind-the-scenes hold on the soap, was fighting back A year before death from stage 4 esophageal cancer.
Past and present stars of the long-running Seven show have taken to social media to remember their beloved co-star.
The series includes a clip of Emily Weir, who plays Mackenzie, in the Murray home as a joke and set in his tribute.
He captioned the video: 'Love you Brucie, beautiful thing. '
Sarah Roberts, who will leave the series in 2021, has released a virtual 'scrapbook' of the Home and Away cast and crew featuring a photo of Murray.
'What a man, never a dull moment on set or on the dance floor,' Sarah wrote on her Instagram Stories on Monday.
'One of the reasons I loved going to work was … I couldn't stop laughing at his jokes and his dance moves. I miss you Brucie! '

The sad news of Murray's illness first broke in October 2023 A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help Bruce's family raise funds during treatment.
'Recently our dear, good friend Bruce Murray was diagnosed with stage 4 oesophageal cancer which unfortunately traveled into his bloodstream and developed multiple cancers in his bones – ribs, spine, collar bone, sacrum and pelvis,' explained his GFM page.
'Bruce will begin radiation therapy on the 3 most urgent skeletal areas – the spine, ribs and pelvis and will soon begin a combo of chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
The much-loved technician worked in the film and television industry for over 20 years as a gripper, main gripper and zip operator.
'It's going to be a long journey but we're staying positive and know our dear Brucie is a strong one.
'If you would like to donate, please do – nothing will help Bruce and his family through this journey and allow some comfort through these difficult roads.'
A GoFundMe raised $51,000 for Murray's treatment and includes contributions from Georgie Parker, Philippa Northeast, Matt Little and Ada Nicodemus.
